Our journey began with a love for creating and fixing things, combined with a drive to push the boundaries of design and functionality. Based in our home workshop we have grown into a thriving business, recognized in the tactical industry for our cutting-edge helmet-mounted night vision solutions, market-disrupting helmet stands, and other unique products.
Our Story
Acquired from engineering genius Jack Banks in 2023, Nodpod.us is now owned and operated by a duo with a deep-seated passion for technology and creativity. With a military background, coupled with a rich experience in product photography and videography, we bring a multi-faceted blend of skills to the table. Our hands-on expertise with CNC technology allows us to craft products that are not only functional but also visually stunning.
Tomm Venable, Chief Operations Officer
After a decade as a Paratrooper in the US Army, where he served on a team in a highly specialized Long-Range Reconnaissance and Surveillance (LRRS) unit, Tomm took to the private sector, where he pursued executive protection, investigations, and surveillance. There, he would apply his passion for engineering and creative solutions, landing him in the world of CAD, 3D printing, and laser CNC technology.
His work is characterized by precision, creativity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Beyond his technical prowess, Tomm holds several licenses, including FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot, FCC Radio Technician, Private Investigator, PPO, and many more, which provides valuable context behind our products.
Tori Keller, Chief Executive Officer (reluctantly)
Tori is very detail-oriented with experience in the production industry as a final script supervisor and payroll manager, making her skilled with numbers, details, and delegation. She has extensive experience in commercial childcare, where she applied her degree in psychology, providing her with a deep understanding of human behavior and the importance of empathy in leadership.
In addition to her professional achievements, Tori is experienced in English and Western horseback competition riding, a practice demanding discipline, finesse, and a harmonious connection between horse and rider. This experience has taught her the value of patience, practice, and the pursuit of excellence. Her vision for the company is to expand into new industries and build a larger, stronger company on the foundation of duty, responsibility, and treating others with kindness.
